PeakMind Performance has been developed into formal academic coursework and is currently taught in the MFA Acting Program at Columbia University. Rafi Silver teaches The Mindful Actor, a course that helps actors develop focus, emotional regulation, and presence through mindfulness practice and performance psychology. He also co-teaches Professional Approach, which prepares students for the realities of the professional industry. These courses combine lecture, discussion, meditation, and experiential exercises, and are offered both in person and virtually for universities, conservatories, and athletic programs.

Mindfulness for Athletes
Mindfulness enhances mental performance for athletes by improving focus, emotional regulation, and stress management. It trains the mind to remain present, helping athletes reduce distractions and respond more effectively in high-pressure situations. This practice also increases self-awareness, allowing athletes to recognize and manage negative thoughts, nerves, or frustration, which leads to greater confidence and resilience. Additionally, mindfulness supports recovery by promoting relaxation and reducing mental fatigue, enabling athletes to perform consistently at their best both physically and mentally.
PeakMind Performance offers sport-specific training programs that apply these principles directly to athletic environments. The CrossFit Mindfulness Crash Course is an eight-week mental training program designed specifically for CrossFit athletes, teaching focus under fatigue, emotional recovery after mistakes, and sustainable intensity during competition. The Mindful Golfer helps golfers develop composure, sharpen attention, and build a repeatable mental routine for consistent performance on the course.
